I don't usually post this sort of things but I just realized that this week marks one year of riding for me. A lot has happened in that year, I went from riding 3-4 miles and thinking that was a big deal when I first started to completing two centuries so far this season (along with two metrics and one 83 or so miler). The century yesterday is hands down the toughest ride I've ever done. I rode the century route of the French Creek Iron tour (

This ride was downright brutal, the hills were enough but couple that with it being the hottest day of the year so far (one bank I drove by around 6:00 PM said 95 F and when I wend back by around 8 it was still 90F) took it to a whole different level. I'm definitely feeling it today, but am glad I did it, to do this one year after I started riding was more than I would have ever imagined.
