are you saying they dont serve the purpose of seatstays? or that the crossing serves no purpose other than asthetics?
In person it's a really cool bike. part of that is the "wow what do we have here" aspect of walking down the street and seeing it locked up among the usual hybrids etc. the seatpost and maybe cranks are miche. the hubs phil, and headset chris king. I read the builder made just two like this, one for himself.
