Bikes: Motobecane Fantom Cross; Cannondale Supersix replaced the Giant TCR which came to an untimely death by truck

Compact (34/50) and a SRAM X9 derailleur along with a xx-36 cassette and you have a compact double that has a low gear 1.8 gain ratio which, I believe, is the same as a 30 crank and 32 cassette.
If you don't have SRAM setup you would need to change brifters and front derailleur as well. That can be costly
