Not the first time I've read that WD40 is based on kerosene. That seems to be an unfounded rumor - the WD40 web site states specifically that it "does not contain silicone, kerosene, water, wax, graphite..." and that it's "an effective cleaner for tools, equipment, and vehicles". WD40 is certainly an old product, but I have yet to find a newer one that's as handy, as useful, and has such a fine manly scent besides.

Just keep it off the pads and rims.
