hermosa beach , middle of summer, totally crowded with people. I had taken out an old mountain bike that had been sitting for months. i took it out of my truck bed and hopped on and started peddling. as i came up to a cross street with tons of people and cars i went to pull the rear break and it was stuck, completely frozen. i was 2 seconds away from flying into a street with cross traffic so i panicked and grabbed my front break hard.

i went flying over the handle bars and straight towards a group of people. i rolled and slid and grinded to a stop. i jumped up and the crowd of drunks went wild with cheers. i was very embarrased but fortunately totally unhurt.
