I don't think my marriage would survive a tandem.

My own honey is miserable right now because she said she'd never ride again, then she started and decided she really likes it, then bruised her Achilles tendon in a freak laundry accident (no, really) and she can't ride right now.

After getting my wife on the bike and liking it, I love seeing threads where other happy couples are discovering the joys of riding together. Well done!
