I like bikes. Pretty much all of them. Some better than others, but I'd ride anything. Aluminum, steel, carbon, bamboo, plywood. Fixed gear, internal hub, coaster brake, 2-speed kickback, or derailleur geared. I regularly ride a recumbent, a cruiser, a MTB, a road bike; I wish I had a penny farthing - I'd ride that. If my legs quit working, I'd ride a handbike or maybe a race wheelchair. A unicycle is okay too, and I'll ride three-wheelers when my balance goes. I love short fast rides, touring rides, brevets, club rides, fundraiser rides. I like cruising the flatland of central Indiana, but also enjoy the hills of Kentucky; my brief encounter with the White Mountains in New Hampshire was fantastic. I use bikes for transportation, for fitness, for recreation. I could go on and on. Already did, I guess.
So I'm biased toward bikes.
