I was trying to tell her that I just came down stairs to pee, but that didn't make any sense as we have a bathroom off our bedroom (3rd floor). She thought I was pissed off at her or something- she had no idea, just trying to make sense of my bizarre behavior, but I don't remember any of it. I just woke up down there. We gathered that I was sleep walking, or something, but it was more than un-nerving.
Apparently she'd awakened me, asking if I wanted some water (I assume I was moving like I was waking up). I responded, yes, but then started moving around like she wasn't in the bed at all. When prompted, I refused the glass of water, just grunting, and shortly got out of bed, disappearing swiftly down the stairs. My girlfriend was really upset, thinking I was mad at her, but didn't know why, and she confronted me downstairs.
We talked through it (during which time, I awoke), and things are fine between us, but I was and am, pretty disturbed by the events this morning. I don't know what happened to me. I was fully functioning, communicative except for refusing the glass, and able to make it down two flights of stairs, but have zero memory of it all. I don't know what happened to me.
Just sounds like sleep walking to me. You don't take Ambien do you?
My wife and daughter are both sleep walkers. They don't ever have any recollection of what is going on and deny it ever happened, but it does.
As long as you aren't like this:
