I've seen pictures of riders with a cycling cap under their helmet. Is this common practice? I can see some advantages (no vent pattern sunburn for one, less rain/sweat in the eyes for another). Do any of you ride with a cap under your helmet and why do you like it? I tried one on in the store and I think it looks a bit goofy, but felt OK. Maybe it's just the late hour, but I thought it might spark some discussion.
