SRAM Rival Front Derailleur Issues

Hey all,

I recently installed a SRAM Quarq (the S975, 53/39) on my Cervelo S2 w/ Rival. I previously had a 50/34 crank on it, but luckily my chain had enough slack to fit the new 53/39 (with a bit of B screw adjustment on the RD). However, I had to raise my FD to fit the 53/39, so I used the parktool guide for aligning and adjusting the FD, and I thought I did a pretty good job. However, it is almost impossible for me to shift from the 39 -> 53, unless I'm in my smallest rear cog. It almost seems like the gap between the inner and outer chainrings on the S975 is larger than on my old FSA Gossamer–could this be? Has anyone had experience with the Rival/S975 combo?

Thanks!
