OP. I support. I am sick to death of people who haven't learned the simple lesson in life that allows everyone to get along: be freakin' honest.
By the way, in case one or two of you didn't understand: the OP stated he won the auction and that the seller claimed it sold locally
after the auction closed. What should be
expected is that the seller honors the deal. Case closed.
People can talk gray areas on Ebay until they're blue in the face. The fact remains that the rules are the rules.
I've added all three handles from this thread to my blocked list. Thank you. As for "buying from a reputable site", I get that except for one thing: even those started with zero feedback.
Honesty pays in the long run - period.
