Rene Herse Demontable Pics

I started a thread on the Classic and Vintage valuation forum and there was some interest in seeing more pictures, so here they are. My Father-in-Law bought this bike from the original owner just after the 84 Olympics, and a little later gave it to me as the frame was too big for him.

The Bike

Details

I have the original paperwork. Here is the invoice.

At the exchange rate in 1972, that was $538.40. Customs was about $25.00.

And here is a draft letter hand written by (I presume) Rene Herse.

Hope this is of some interest,
Mike
