Is there any reason for me to replace my crank? It's a FSA Vero crank that came stock on my Lager. I'm 6'4" but I'm really skinny, so I highly doubt I'm flexing the crank or anything. The BB seems fine, but I don't know how to tell when it's bad. I guess it's one of those things where you'll know when it needs replacing?
The reason I ask is because I have a chance to grab a gently used Sugino RD2 crank (black) for a decent price. But then I'd need to replace the BB too. I'm thinking I should just stick with what I have but wanted advice from someone who knows (aka- you guys). It would be fun to "upgrade" and to have a black crank to match the black chainring. I've heard good things about the RD2 but I don't understand what makes it better than what I have now?
