back on the bike today! went to performance bike over the weekend and picked out some kevlar beaded tires, and also some 'slime' to put between the tire and tube - I was also persuaded by the sales guy (who was really genuinely helpful) to switch from schrader to presta valves - lets see if all this works to slow my puncture rate

the ride this morning was nice - not too cold - low 40s I would say - there is 1" of snow snow forecast for tomorrow so I am preparing myself for mass hysteria in the DC area - I may not bike as I have read here that the salt etc is a drivetrain killer
