This is a very quiet street with not much traffic, and wide enough for cars to park on both sides of the single lane.

Recently I was honked at and got an angry look from a driver going the correct way, though there was plenty of room for him to pass.

I would have been on the sidewalk but it was after dusk, so there would be risk of hitting pedestrians or potholes I didn't see. Also, the sidewalks here are much worse than the streets.
