Been using a pair of "BG" brand work gloves from Home Depot.
They are form fitting just like cycling gloves, leather palms with padding in the same places as cycling gloves and the backs are neon yellow which is great for signaling turns.
Best of all, they were only about 8 bucks.
Uline for me. Have several pair of cycling gloves that I alternate for hygenic reasons, but the Uline fingerless work gloves are as functional as any I've used. With the great exception being Spenco Ironman cycling gloves. Far and away the best
