+1 From my perspective this was a cold-blooded attempt on an innocent life. No drinking, no drugs, no texting or other distractions. That's BS. The driver knew
exactly they were doing. Road rage. Pure and simple.
Similar to the case in the UK involving a bus driver and a cyclist where the bus driver swerved and knocked the cyclist over. But in that case the cyclist had had words w/the BD and rode in front of him for several blocks daring him to hit the bike...well he got his wish.
This is a completely different situation.
