Raleigh vintage - serial number question
I am building up a Raleigh (Carlton decal on the seat tube). It is a 531 frame - lugged. The fork is 531 but not lugged. Its serial number is on the bottom bracket shell. G5706. Does anyone know how to read this serial number? I am interested in the age of the frame.
