You'll be fine with your 200 pound weight. I'm 220 and ride the same post...ride ON the same post.
Also, in very good condition, these might get up to $100, but there are plenty of these still floating around. Off-sizes (other than 27.2) sell for more. Campagnolo makes a 10mm offset wrench specifically for this post. I bought one for $30 on eBay. Best of luck.
