Only had a half commute today. It was a lovely morning and nice ride in except for the fact that I had ANOTHER flat 3 miles from the house. Some stupid rusty nail went straight through the tire and tube. So 15 minutes went toast but I made it up and got to the town I work in on time. Then, as I'm getting into a left turn lane on a highway with 50mph speed limit where I have to travel for about 100 yards, some lady in a green jeep comes blazing behind me going what I thought was 60+.

At this point I'm going 25 mph and trying to get this over with quickly and not be in anybody's way. I signaled left to indicate my move before as the turn lane formed but she starts to try to pass me, IN the TURN LANE across double yellow lines with oncoming traffic. Came real close behind me and ended up passing with a stomp on the gas all the way into the lane of oncoming traffic...

Couldn't be bothered to feather the brakes for 10 seconds, jeez!?! Road rage jerk-idiot late to work has to sacrifice another human being's safety for her convenience. I was so scared but managed to make the cyclist #1 in the air to let her know I didn't appreciate that. Raised my blood pressure for several hours afterwards.

Other then that pretty good day and I took a short ride afterwards.
