It kinda depends on what color pants you wear. If you wear pants any color other than black, get the brown saddle because it won't stain them. If you wear black pants, you can get the black saddle because the stain will be black. If it's the look of the bike you're concerned about... well, I can't advise. The color of the saddle never bothers me when I'm on the bike, because I can't even see it.
