No matter how hard you try there will always be someone who is going to tell you are doing it wrong -this goes double for anything regarding aesthetics.

Just do what you like and please your eye and forget what other people say or think -they don't do it very often anyhow.

I sort of like what rhm says. I can't see the saddle when I'm sitting on it. Fit/feel is everything. My butt is blind -but it sure has a lot of feeling.
