Bikes: 1986 Alpine (steel road bike), 2009 Ti Habenero, 2013 Specialized Roubaix

I think it depends on how hard you ride them and how hard you brake. If you service the bearings every 10,000 miles I would suspect you could/should get 20,000 to 30,000 miles out of them.
