Sure there is a difference in the Ebay market and Craigslist. From a buyer's point of veiw, on Craigslist it is possible to get steals, or giveaways. Not so on Ebay, because something that is good is going to get bidded to the sky. Case in point. I caught a prime condition 9.2 out of 10 a 1988 Centurion Ironman Expert off Craigslist for $90. When I went to pick it up, the seller asked me did I want Look pedals or Shimano 105 toe clip pedals? I opted for the 105 pedals, which themselves go for almost a $100 on Ebay. How much is the Expert worth? Well, I wouln't take $500 for it, and you would have to twist my arm for me to take a $1000!
On Ebay, the seller could have listed this bike with a starting bid of $90, and $60 for shipping. It would have cleared $400 easily. So, there is a difference in Ebay and Craiglist. The price I was asking $550 on Craigslilst, I would have been wasting my time. Not only that, I wouldn't have got the exposure that I got on Ebay..
Now, the poster that sold 3 of these plus the International, should jump on this one!!

Or tell the seller he is is out to lunch!!
