Usually I follow all traffic laws even though people run red lights and stuff all the time.
However, today I didn't see a crosswalk near the pedestrian zone (crane parked in the street was blocking it) and rode through it, albeit slowly.
And, what do you know, someone shouted "Zebrastreifen" ... meaning zebra stripes (or crosswalk).
I tried to shout "Entschuldingung" back but it's too long of a word based on how fast I was moving
What is an appropriate punishment?
