Should I remove my ENO freewheel from the "spare" side of my hub now that I am riding FG instead of SS? I thought the ENO would be a nice "safety net" if I get in a jam (read: too wasted, lol) but in reality I'll probably never use it - so I'd rather not leave it on and wait for it to get stolen (or at the very least all grimey) for no reason.
I was thinking a cheapy freewheel or a different size cog would be a better call. But I also try to live by the code of using the things I buy. No sense in owning a special/fancy/expensive part if it's just going to sit in a drawer, right?
I dunno, I left my freewheel on but I don't care about things and no one's going to steal it. Also it is just a Shimano freewheel and the LBS gave it to me free when I bought the bike so *shrug*.

P.S. I ride drunk all the time and would never bother to flip to SS for that. You're more likely to **** yourself or your bike up trying to do that wasted than just riding home. Riding fixed will feel like second nature in no time. I rode my geared bike to work this morning and OMG coasting felt so weird, as is what happens every time I switch between my bikes.
