I've been plagued by living this maxim for years. That's why I have a small stash of hoarded Campy Nuovo Record parts I will probably never need at the rate I'm using up the ones on the bike. The stuff doesn't wear out at my speed. I just bought six pair of pants I like because I am sure they'll stop making them, and they were only thirteen bucks a pair. Ask my wife. Yes, I stock up.
