It went well, even on loose gravel . Columbus Tubing is a great material to make a touring bike out of . I had previously had it on a Schwinn Prelude that was too small for me. This bike is my size , and while it looks awful, due to what apparently was a career in cyclocross, mechanical rehabs have been going well . Becoming a believer in 27" wheels again .
