I would not price at $300, if I was willing to take $200. Price closer to your acceptable price. I typically do not discount bikes more than 10%, some none at all. The higher price will just discourage possible buyers.
Now if you think it will bring $300 in your market, ask $300.
Peugeots draw a great response here, XL size is a negative.
