I have read this thread with much interest. I have recently returned to riding after 10 years. Of course back then it was mostly trail riding. Only had to worry about drivers while getting to the trail head. So I plan to get all the hi-vis equipment I can. I know folks use mirrors etc. And I know that bike etiquette says to ride with the flow of traffic. However, when I was a child (50's/60's) I was taught to ride against the traffic. Reason was to be able to see what was coming at me and take evasive action sooner...
