Help Me Out - Which Thread to Post In?

Hai All,

Say, I'm looking to post something in a new thread but I'm having a hard time deciding. There are so many threads here on so many subjects. Some are just plain silly but many are serious and others are DEADLY SERIOUS (y'know, like "don't post in my thread unless you have a serious, well-documented answer or I'll reach thru the Intertubes and kill you" kind of SERIOUS).

I have opinions on MANY things and am all too free with sharing those opinions with anybody who will listen . . . and with those who won't, too. Doesn't matter; I've got an opinion - - don't wanna hear it? Tough.

Oh, and don't tell me to choose the one that "feels the best" or "fits the best." If I waited for a thread to feel just right I probably wouldn't get anything posted and then I would lose interest in posting and my keyboard would just sit in the corner getting dusty while I click through funny cat pictures on icanhascheezburger.com or something. I want to get in there and get posting right away, so maybe you could recommend a good entry-level thread that isn't too hard to learn on but will make me look like an Expert Pro poster in like a week or less.

And don't tell me to "Try Them All" and then decide either. I don't type that fast with just four Fingers and I'm pretty sure I would bonk and get typer's cramp or carpal tunnel or something trying to post in all of them. And I'm not interested in a thread from Threadsdirect.com either. My buddy already warned me about that - - they hang a bunch of pretty savvy posts on cookie-cutter, catalog threads to tempt you into thinking they're the REAL DEAL and wow, this thread's going to go somewhere and then your buddies laugh at you behind your back for falling for something like a newbie dweeb.

Thanks in advance.
