I was at my race with a woman who lived there for several years. She said in summer it was windy most of the time, and in winter it was bitterly cold. It's definitely a small town. It has some small-town charm, the campus is beautiful, but i felt that the small-town-poverty / lack of wider culture would outweigh that.
