I have a set of those on my Univega. The Dia Compes take a lot of fiddling to set up. I kept adjusting over & over until everything worked. Took about 1/2 hour. We now love V-brakes all the more, but I'm keeping the cantis- no real need to change.

I'm using Kool Stop salmon pads. The braking is excellent.
