It is 22 miles round trip. My goal is to ride 2-3 times a week. If family plans after work would allow it. I think that I just would not have enough time to do both as MK313 said. I have ridden a couple days in a row and my legs start to feel really tired. I also ride pretty hard (avg 14.4 and one time 15.3 one way.) It is a little more down hill to work and uphill from work.

I would know, I lost a good ten pounds over a summer biking to my workplace which was half your distance.
I am currently maintaining my weight but would love to drop another 10lbs if possible. I have lost 30 since October of 2010. I am really in the best shape of my life. I think I might just commit to riding a little more. It burns more calories than Insanity (made by same ppl who make p90X) It is jumping around in the living room doing push ups and such. I just want to make sure that my upper body stays strong too.
I have inspired two other people at work to think about riding their bikes to work. I think that would be pretty awesome to see happen too.
