During my first ever road bike experience, I had to go off road 3 times. first time because a semi flew past me and it blew me off the road, he was probably about an inch from me, he didn't get over at all, truckers own the road I guess... second an old couple almost hit me, i went off road to avoid being hit then they had the nerve to stop and chew me out for being on the road though I was doing everything legal, I addressed them with a middle finger and they drove off and left me alone, it was childish of me to flip them off I suppose but I was extremely hot, worn out and a bit annoyed by their lack of following road laws.
