Straight pull spokes aren't unique and quite a few rims can run them. If I remember correctly the front hub was 24h 2x, which just about any rim that can use straight pull spokes will be able to do just fine. Am I missing something?
The spokes run "backwards", in that the nipple is on the hub end, so the rims need to be able to accommodate the spoke head at the rim.
