The rear hub assembly was made in Germany and I attempted to buy another in 1978 or 9 and was told they were discontinued as the mfg could not meet the supply. It is a great bike and the one we have, purchased for our son in 1973 or 4 still runs and looks great. It has been hanging in the garage for roughly 30 yrs and is now for sale. Chrome rims and fenders still glisten. Alex Jackson
Interestingly, I have a CCM Mixte that is made from Reynolds 531 (straight gauge I'm guessing) sitting in my basement. I think it has a 21" (or maybe even 22") seattube, but don't remember. The CCM bicycles seem to be well made bicycles, of the hand-full I have seen.
