Bikes: Many

I guess if you spoke French and knew about bikes.

The longer I wonder around in C&V world the more I realize I don't know. I have never seen a BICYCLE chain advertized in any dimensions other than fractional "inch" dimensions like 1/8" or 3/32". I recently found that early French manufacturers used some other system. I searched several different systems including ANSA, ISO, German, British and Metric. I am looking for something that looks like 2m/m 38 or 2/38 or 2mm/38 . I think it's the same as 1/8". We are talking about 1900 or so.

Have you any information?

Thanks,
