Hello. I read many other forums but until now have yet to join bicycle fourm.

Before I have only ridden alone. This is my first year of riding event with large group SAG ride: Udder Century in Union IL last month. At start of ride, group I was with felt like a peloton....about 50 riders. Wow slipstream REALLY helps. Then remainder of ride was riding in group of 5-10 cyclist and nice talking to them. Hopefully by year's end I will be able to get in at least two centuries.

My current road bicycle is a recently modded old frame (couldn't pass up great deal on build kit):
2006 Trek Madone 5.2 and its Bontrager RaceXLite fork

My other bike is for riding in neighborhood with family:
Trek 7000 (year 1995)

Both frames made in USA though I have seen from looking at this forum this is becoming rarity.
