Also did Davis July 4th, in CAT4. By the time I got to the start everyone was lined up and official was doing his talk. Put my spare wheels in to the pit, and pulled to the back. Race started, got my azz to the front. Stayed there for most of the race, just tried to surf front riders. The heat was getting to me a bit. Plus I forgot to refill my water bottle so I was thirsty as hell.

On last lap was on third wheel, and already had a plan for last corner leading to the finish. I watched people in front of me corner before so I knew they will go wide, with tighter line I could get a jump on them. Well that was the plan....

The reality was on the fourth corner with two to go, someone bombed or something on the inside then swung wide like a suicidal squirrel dashing across the wheel. I had to react and go wide. Barely avoided hitting the curb. I lost ten or so positions, and wasn't able to gain them back in last couple corners and final sprint. To say I was pissed is an under statement, but like caloso said "That's racing". The frustrating part is, this season I am finally starting to place consistency and I cat taste that upgrade to 3.
