I discovered the Conti Sport Contact last year. They have been working very well for me. I have been time trialing several of my bikes to compare tire performance and the Sport Contacts, in both 26x1.6” and 700x37c are both quite fast, as well as being very comfortable.
Another 26” tire that seems quite good is the Vittoria Randonneur Pro 26x1.5”
