A time machine for sure. I lusted over that very same bike/color scheme when they were new. Still very, very cool. The quintessential MTB from the early 90's right up there with the Yeti Ultimate, Manitou or Yo Eddy but what set apart the Klein was the whole package: Mission control h-bar n stem and that badass fork. There's one hanging from the rafters at Second Ascent in Seattle that I wistfully admire when I am over that ways in Ballard...

I can understand you wanting to keep it looking new but I don't know if I'd have the self control to do that. Kudos!
