Bikes: 2012 Raliegh Misceo

With all due respect. I am relatively new here and have not included my location. I joined bike forums because 9 out of 10 bike questions posed to search engine led here (and for a large-ish forum, it is remarkably civil). From my cumulative posts it's possible someone could figure it out but as you state "I know, trying to be incognito on the web is desirable". Agreed.

Particularly for C&V valuations, if there is a potentially under-valued bike for sale and I am trying to confirm that fact with the wise masses here, including the actual link a/o my location has two potential downsides. 1) If seller gets a lot of interest and goes to web to do additional research on the bike and finds a thread telling poster "RUN TO THAT BIKE-- it is massively undervalued". Seller possibly seeks more for the bike. 2) Another BF'er in proximity gets alerted to the bike here and possibly scoops the bike. Both unlikely scenarios, but possible.

The other thing is that price is so subjective anyway. A lot more helpful that "$XXX", are what you all (and someday me all) sees or knows about the bike since old catalogs often aren't available. Calling out steel wheels, cottered cranks, or that the bike was the lowest-end model at the time can all be tremendously helpful and is location independent.

Just saying...
