Bikes: 85 Trek 400, Trek 7000ZX , Schwinn Circuit

I use the strap on bike rack on my minivan and I put thick socks over the pedals. I also run bungee straps through the wheels to keep them from moving. So far so good... Sorry about your misshap... That would be a pain.
