Bikes: 1970 Holdsworth Mistral, Vitus 979, Colnago Primavera, Corratec Hydracarbon, Massi MegaTeam, 1935 Claud Butler Super Velo, Carrera Virtuoso, Viner, 1953 Claud Butler Silver Jubilee, 1954 Holdsworth Typhoon, 1966 Claud Butler Olympic Road, 1982 Claud

Claud Butlers and Holdsworths.

Claud Butlers - because they are the 'background scenery' of my life. One of my earliest memories is being given a ride on the top tube of my uncle's bike. I later found out it was a 1947 Tour Anglais. Some 12 years or so later it passed to me and in my youthful ignorance I let it go. Soon afterwards I had eight Claud Butlers of my own and I've always had at least one or two - currently I have six, ranging from a 1935 Super Velo to a 1984 Elan.

Holdsworths, because I've spent most of my life wanting one but for one reason or another it didn't happen until 2002, when I bought a 1970 Mistral frame. Now thanks to the generosity of a C&V member in London, I also have a 1954 Typhoon.

Still looking for another Tour Anglais and a Holdsworth professional (for cheap!)

Plenty of other bikes in the fleet including some lovely Italian and French steeds, but if I could only keep two marques it'd be the 'South London Brigade' every time.
