I just don't see any positives to doing it. Ergonomically it looks to be far worse than STI/Ergos or bar ends - losing a comfortable/useable position in the drops doesn't make sense to me. More hand positions = better. Mounting them near the stem wouldn't work for me either. As noted, it takes up real estate that would better be suited for lights, a computer, or whatever. That said, whatever works for you is just fine by me
