not sure if there's a stolen bikes thread but i figured it couldn't hurt to have a few extra bicycle enthusiasts keeping their eyes out for long lost bicycles nationwide.

this just happened on the 4th of july. between 3pm - 4pm in brooklyn (clinton hill)

both my wife's and my bikes got stolen while getting ready for BBQ and fireworks.

dark green 60cm Lotus Competition single speed, chrome lugs. has moustache bars and sunlite basket (different from this photo) campy crankset, pedals, headset, brakes. dura ace seatpost. black turbo saddle. nitto technomic stem. silver araya 36 rims / sunshine hubs. continental tires. tektro brake levers.

and a 49cm Centurion Ironman Master teal green and white. also single speed. VO porteur handlebars and sunlite basket. shimano 600 crankset and brakes. MKS touring pedals. nitto deluxe stem. roto seatpost. black avocet racing III saddle. dark grey wolber rims / shimano 600 hubs. specialized tires. tektro brake levers.

p.s. the thieves cut through a big 'ol kryptonite NYC lock (its way beyond all of kryptonites legal terms and restrictions so we can't get reimbursed through their insurance program)
