You do realize that this is just about the last way Strava is going to want it's product advertised, right? To paraphrase your post

"I didn't used to ride hard, but then I discovered Strava, pushed myself beyond my limits trying to get one of their KOM's, got injured as a result of that (here's some photographic evidence) and possibly a concussion. Thanks Strava!"
