First, move the side clips towards the buckle until they are about 1-2 inches from the buckle. Once the helmet is on, you may need to grab the back straps and move them behind your ears where they will then stay comfortably.

If the buckle is still too far back on your chin then shorten the front straps on each side. you can balance the buckle left to right under your chin by adjusting the the back strap lengths on the left side buckle.
