The BB shell is a Roto (I believe) and you can see it's marked made in Italy. The forkcrown also has a mark (AV?) but don't know what that means, brand-wise...wonder if the (French!) 531 decal is truthful or false...I'd look into the base of the steerer for "rifling", also tell us the seat post size and the BB threading.
